Narkanda
Situate at a height of 2700 meters it has a choice of Skiing Slopes suitable for beginners as well as sharper descents for the seasoned skiers.Winter Sports Carnival is its' special attraction. Skiing Slopes and sledging provide entertainment to beginners as well as experienced sportsman. Equipment and instructors are available at the slopes.

Hattu Peak
This peak is about 8kms far from Narkanda. One can hike or drive to this lovely peak to enjoy the panoramic view of the forests, orchards and snow clad mountains. Hatu Mata temple is located in this hill top which is at 3300 meters,

The Apple Belt
An hour drive away are Thanedar and Kotgarh where the Quaker Samuel Evan Stokes settled after converting to Hinduism and planted orchards of red delicious and golden delicious apples that transformed the local economy

Kufri
Placed at a height of 2622 meters, both Kufri and the Mahasu Peak is approached via two-kilometre mountain trail. An enjoyable walk leads up to the Mahasu Peak and pleasurable riding on horses and yaks. The panoramic views of deep valleys and forests rising towards the lofty Himalayas, shrouded by snow peaks, provide some of the most breath taking sunsets. Chini Bungalow now named Lalit Café has a Mini Zoo adjoining it and specimens of Himalayan Wild Life can be seen in their natural habitat. Some amazing drives can also be had in the region down towards the Hindustan Tibet Road to Faguand beyond that sits astride a mountain saddle and presents some breath taking scenery. Shimla
